The Learning Support department at Broadland High Ormiston Academy (BHOA) is led by our Head of Additional Needs/SENCo, Mrs Eleanor Gilroy. She is supported by an Assistant Head of Additional Needs, two Higher-Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA) and four further LSAs. The team is based in the new SEND suite near the main office with a classroom and adjoining meeting rooms which provide a supportive and accessible provision for students during both lessons and social times.
We pride ourselves on being a very proactive and approachable team, who are fully committed to supporting all learners to overcome their barriers to learning in order to fulfill their full potential. We are always very happy to speak with parents/carers and/or students in order to fully support their learning journey at BHOA.
