Our vision for enrichment at Broadland mirrors our Trust’s vision. We aim to enrich the lives of our pupils, to broaden their horizons, raise aspirations, develop their social, emotional and life skills and encourage a love of learning.
Extra-curricular activities, opportunities for student leadership and educational visits are an important complement to the taught curriculum.
We run a large number of lunchtime and after-school clubs, from singing to textiles, from football to chess. The files at the bottom of this page provide an overview of opportunities for each year group. Parents can view the clubs available to their child using the free Edulink One app, sign them up and track their attendance.
Educational trips and visits are designed to support and build on the work we do in lessons. There are a wide range of local, national and international opportunities available.
We are also very proud of our association with the ATC, whose building is on the school site. Many of our students have benefitted from their membership of 222 Squadron and the activities, training and experiences offered. You can find out more about the squadron on their Facebook page here.
In addition to our prefects and head students, students at Broadland have many ways to develop their leadership skills, for example as student safeguarding ambassadors, form or year representatives on the academy council or sports leaders.
