Student Leadership

We believe that all our students should have the opportunity to take up a leadership role as they move through the academy. There are a number of different ways to get involved, all of which help students develop their leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Examples include:

• Prefect
• Form Representative
• Academy Council Representative
• Regional Representative
• Safeguarding Ambassador
• Eco-Councillor
• Sport Captain
• Arts Ambassador

Student Voice

Form Representatives, Academy Council Representatives and Regional Representatives play an important role in ensuring students’ opinions are fed into decision-making at a Trust and Academy level. In addition, all students are asked for their views on key topics using a half-termly survey via their Edulink app.
