Young Carers

At Broadland High we provide all our young carers with an exclusive service to help and support and recognise and reward all the extra challenges they deal with each day.  We link with Caring Together who helped us to set up our Young Carers’ Group.

Norfolk Community Foundation through the Norfolk Millennium Trust for Carers kindly awarded us £250 to set-up a ‘welcome activities box’ of craft materials, games, books, treats etc. Claire Cullens, Chief Executive of Norfolk Community Foundation, said: ‘Norfolk Community Foundation is delighted to support this much needed project that will make a real difference in the community.  We wish them every success with their work.’

BHOA are very grateful and wish to thank Roys (Wroxham) Limited through Making A Difference Locally (MADL) who kindly awarded us £500 and Twinkl through their Community Collection who awarded us £100 for our Young Carer’s Group.
